Kitty Casey is a Sussex based 24 year-old soprano, currently studying at The Royal Northern College of Music
Kitty Casey is a 24 year-old soprano, currently studying at The Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of Linda Richardson, with the generous support of the Countess of Munster and Help Musician’s Sybil Tutton Opera Award.
Kitty is currently understudying the principal role of ‘Lola’ in ‘Uprising’, written by Jonathan Dove , premiering at Glyndbourne. In 2023, Kitty was a Belle Île Young Artist for the Lyrique En Mer Festival, and in 2024 made her debut at Hampstead Garden Opera as the Sandman, in Hansel and Gretel.
Whilst studying at Royal Holloway, University of London, Kitty was awarded the 2022 Dame Felicity Lott scholarship for excellence in performance. She is also the 2024 winner of the Dame Felicity Lott recital prize, as part of the Springboard Festival.
This summer Kitty will be performing at Buxton International Opera Festival as a young artist.
