Andra Băcilă is a prize-winning Romanian pianist currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Andra Băcilă is a classical pianist from Romania in her first year at the Royal Academy of Music under Professor Joanna MacGregor. After receiving a full scholarship, she had her solo recital at the Liszt Institute (Balassi Institute) in Paris, a performance at the Embassy of Switzerland sponsored by Arthur Mattli and at the Embassy of Prague in London with Daisy Noton in the presence of Semyon Bychkov. In 2022, she won numerous competitions such as; the Hungarian Music Festival, International Moscow Music Online Competition and Future Stars International Piano Competition – in which she won a bursary of 76,000 USD at the East Tennessee State University Creative Arts. She performed as a soloist at the Romanian Atheneum, Goethe Institut, ARCUB, the Hungarian Liszt Institut and Romanian National Philharmonic in Brasov.
