Music Box Wealden and The Secret Vineyard were proud to host Tango 44 for their first joint project.
Tanguero Passion is Tango 44’s programme of tango, popular classics and folksong and featured works that have made Piazzolla a household name and taken the world by storm – Libertango, Oblivion and The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires – but also the beautiful Ave Maria and tango standards by Gardel, Mores and Demare. We had a surprised visit but tango dancers and enjoyed their dancing.
Tango 44 is Jonathan Truscott on violin, Pavlos Carvalho on cello, Mark Troop on piano and Corina Piatti, vocalist.

‘The Secret Vineyard is located at Lime Cross Nursery and is comprised of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris. An artisan producer, the vineyard makes no more than 4,000 bottles each year, with sustainability at the heart of everything it does.
Sheep are used to naturally suppress weeds between the vines, wild bee hives are nestled within the surrounding hedgerows, and water is drawn from a spring-fed lake. Beyond the vineyard, there is also a remarkable conifer pinetum containing over 500 varieties of conifers, an ancient woodland, and a stunning lakeside cabin available to rent, alongside a cosy shepherd’s hut and a traditional country cottage.
During the summer months, visitors can attend pop-up dining events, where The Secret Vineyard wines are served alongside carefully curated street food. A full programme of Wine & Wellness events runs throughout the season, offering experiences such as wild swimming, Pilates and yoga, followed by time in the wild spa—complete with sauna, hot tub and cold plunge—before finishing with a vineyard tour and guided wine tasting’
